amongst the zillion things i collect are old tools with wooden handles. they always get a great patina from years of use. I found the green one today. i've got to put my stubby screwdriver collection together as a display. i have around 60 of those now.

There is something particularly appealing about wooden handles, especially awl handles.
isn't there? i figured it was because my father and both grandfathers collected tools as carpenters.
