      I keep thinking about the name of this type of embroidery…..it looks like it might be “punch embroidery” done with a twisted silk (?) thread.
      It’s really beautiful. And those buttons and dime are just perfect!

      Thanks for the info. Her mother had great stuff!! Wish the tag who made it hadn't falling off. She labeled everything so when she passed. Everyone knew what was theirs! Smart Lady! We have a lot of her painted pantry boxes and tole wear she painted.
