I've had this Painting for a while now, but Pete(ho2cultcha) posted a Painting that reminded me of mine and they, to me, look very similar, although from a different time and probably Painter, but mainly posted to see what Pete thinks of it! :^D

Hi Bill. i'm looking at your watercolor now. i think, but am not sure - that the point / island on the right forefront is Alcatraz. So it was painted or more likely - the original image was captured by boat.
the island is not forefront, but middle right.
Thanks, Yes Pete, not Alcatraz, but Yerba Buena Island, your view, is on a boat behind the Ferry looking toward San Francisco, and Oakland is behind You! The Ferry is heading to San Francisco, from Oakland! Bill :^D

Thank You Scott, my Dad was a Union Towboat Operator in San Francisco Bay, Delta, and California Coast, and when I was young, I was able to go to work with Him sometimes, and the Painting reminded me of being out on the Bay pushing a Dredge, and fact is, my Dad ran the Passenger Ferry, if a Call came in when He wasn't running the Towboat, but this is also one the views that We would see on the Bay! :^D
I'm alright, celebrated my first Thanksgiving, alone, even with Calls from Family, it didn't help much, but Tomorrow Sunday I'll be joining my Sister and Her Family for a belated Thanksgiving, because She was sick with a cold for That Week! Thanks for the love You gave for this Post, it's always nice to get! Bill :^)
