Pipe Smokers- I only know it's characteristics and that I've owned it for 36 years.

Pipe, Smokers Pipe, large pipe, vintage.
Unknown material, creator, or age. All one piece. Heavy.
Seeps something from the material that turns it tan colored and waxy feeling. Washes off leaving more grit feeling and white looking. Washing causes small air bubbles in material to pop.
The bottom looks scored and it does look like there are tool marks and or puddy marks around where stem meets bowl.
Beautiful piece I saved. Took 5 years of picking and scraping what I thought was epoxy off of and of it. Now that I know it seeps I'm not sure it was dipped in epoxy like I thought when I got it.
