I got this guy a month ago. He was backed into by a car. Broke 3 of the his base hold downs. Welded them and started to restore him. First thing was the mustache!! Warm weather here this winter has given me time. It's not done but well along. Dates I believe about the 1920's It has a hole in his arm to accept electric wire for Perko light that came with him. I put a Solar light there.
    Heavy weighs about 200 lbs!!
They cut down a lg. Pine where we live so a perfect spot to put him!! We look out our back window and he's there.
I looked up Jockey's and one looked like him with history James Woodburn came up. So I decided to honor him.

Super cool that you’ve repainted him, honored a real jockey and given him a lamp to hold. Nice!
