A big Bang carbide cannon mounted on a motor tank.
Made by the Conestoga Co. of Bethlehem, PA
It operates just like the Big Bang Cannons that we all grew - up on. In fact, it was made by the same Conestoga Co. that made the Bangsite fueled cannons. It was made in 1941 and it is in very good condition.
It had no indication as to who or where it was mfg. The nametag decal, located behind the 50 cal. machine guns is something that I put on after I researched it over the internet.
Now I have to purchase some Bangsite granules to try it out.

I guarantee you will get a (big) bang out of that toy.

Just be aware - the carbide powder doesn't last long after opening (it absorbs moisture from the air) and if it turns from grey to white, it is worthless. So, best to aggrivate your neighbors by firing it a lot at once! Enjoy that nice toy.

Very cool. I posted a cannon not too long ago, but as a kid we didn't have any. We used the large coffee cans with a fire cracker. My dad's Ham towers were 100 ft tall and it would launch that high. Could reuse it several times.
