A rare later Matchbox model for me. This one was originally from 1979. This is probably a later issue probably 1990s. It comes in an old school style box although there is no illustration.
The paint schema is a bit tacky as flames are out now but the 57 looks great anyway as long as it isn't lowered or has skinny tires on it or some other anachronism. It does have a cool hood that opens forward to reveal the engine. An engine that sticks up out of the hood regardless.
I am semi-free now as long as I stay on the mountain. If I go down I may not get up for a few days.
Fabulous flame design, this is super cool!
Feel for you fort, we lived up on a hill in Queens NY during the famous 'Lindsay blizzard of 69' when sanitation was on strike & roads immobile for a couple wks, my dad had fortunately parked on a main street blocks away & got to work but couldn't make it home til they finally cleared the snow. It's a drag but the thaw is coming
It must be beautiful to see! Thank goodness you have so many interesting and unusual items to keep you company. :^)
Your Matchbox car is on fire.... hopefully the combustible cardboard box doesn't burn.... :)
Cool '57 Tri-Five!
Nice one!! Hope you're staying safe in all that snow.
Thank you very much Newfld. Speaking of trash it is piling up in here. I can't put it out because racoons will get it.
Thank you very much Qatchsearcher. Yes it is something to see,
Thank you very much Falcon. Tri 5s tend to be cool.
