Marx Fort Apache Blockhouse 1978

The blockhouse as promised. As can been seen it is not only detailed on the outside but detailed on the inside too. It has rifle slots for 15 men in the upstairs sections. There is a hole in the floor with a ladder molded into the side that the men used to crawl up. Although the top comes off for easier loading. It is also open in the back for filling it with defenders. Which reminds me the figures used for the set were originally used for the Alamo playset. The frontiersmen were from the Boonesborough playset but they were also used in the Alamo set for Davy Crockett and his frontiersmen. I will need an Alamo set someday as it is pretty cool.
Roadtrip tomorrow and we will see how that goes.
