Found at a thrift store, also possibly Papago / Tohono O’odham. I know the Pakistani and African baskets look identical. Red, Black, and White colors with a herringbone braided rim. Looks like a sunflower, star, or sun? Then there are six black triangles stair casing upwards towards the rim. The pattern is all geometric. Looks like Yucca, and Devils Claw were the primary weaving material. With a grass and towing looking coil. There is some color fading/ wear to the basket. Measures 14” in diameter and 7”.
Would really appreciate any info provided!
