It is all in the title aside from that the car is a 1969 AMC AMX and the car was Super Stock and sometimes Pro Stock.
Shirley began racing in the 1950s. Her husband built and worked on her cars. In 1968 she switched to AMC and AMC paid her a salary. She quit racing in 1972 after her husband got a full time job building race cars and then she worked for the gas company. I don't think she won any championships in this car but she had earlier.
Anyway the main thing here is that it is an AMX and you don't see those too often. It is something other than the usual Mustang or Camaro.
The '68-70 AMC AMX were two seaters which lead into the 1971 AMC AMX Javelin four seater.
Thank you very much Falcon. Not sure if the model is a 2 seater but it is suppposed to be a 69. They may have used a generic interior.
