    What trunk it this? My father's grandmother gave it to him and he does not know anything or where it came from. Can you please give me some info on it and how old it is and how much it is worth.

      So if someone knows something like the origin, price, date, etc. Let me know down here! It says something like "theaters" on the top.

      Welcome to CW. Your pictures are not very good. It would help if we could see the whole piece. Also the picture is too low of quality to read the plaque.

      To me, it looks like a flat top steamer trunk? You don't give us any dimensions and we can't see the inside. Sometimes the latches/hardware will have patent dates. Of course a trunk could be used for storage of any number of items, not just travel. I'm not a trunk expert, but to me looks mid to late 1800s?
