This bull kogo (incense case) is 3" long x 1.5" wide and marked on the bottom. It came with its original tomobako but no cloth or documentation. It is meant to hold three pieces of incense for a tea ceremony. I did quite a bit of research on this but it is all at my other house. Will update and add links the next time I go there. I have six or eight of these in various styles, all pottery, most in the original box or tomobako. I think that I identified the maker of this one, but that information is also at my other house. Different materials are used for different seasons.

Thanks for your comments, Jenni! He is handsome, isn't he?
BTW, I contacted CW support as I an not being notified when I get comments. The "Recent Activity" links are not working correctly in posts, either.
