One of my finds from the last Rose Bowl. This is a pair of small Indoor gnomes which I believe are made from terra cotta. The unpainted underside is red. Forgot to take a photo of that. These figures are about 4 1/2" tall. How can I tell these are vintage? They are of a vintage style and the colors are dull. Current gnomes are cartoonish.
Still some more exciting items coming up! OK fairly exciting and perhaps a couple you may not like that much but all good.
Nice ones! I'm not a collector of gnomes, so I don't know much about the terra cotta versions. But, the cast iron doorstop versions fetch a pretty high price.
