    Hello everyone!!
    Another of my rare doorstops is this cast iron clown. This one was made by Hubley in the very early 1900's and is highly coveted in the doorstop collectors world. Hubley listed this one in their catalog simply as "Clown", no catalog number was ever given to this particular doorstop by Hubley, at least that anyone is aware of. Though it's suffered some paint loss over it's 100+ years of life, it's still in pretty amazing condition for it's age. This is a one piece double sided design and measures 10" tall, 4 1/2" wide and weighs 4.30lbs. This one graces the cover of the Doorstops Identification and Values book by Jeanne Bertoia.
