Richfield Oil merged with Atlantic Refining Company in 1966 which means this is from some time before 1966. Some sites say 1930s and some say 1950s. Anyway it was from some time around then. Atlantic Richfield is better known as ARCO. Perhaps they will go back to Atlantic Richfield as retro is in although I doubt it.
What drew me to this can were the graphics with the Richfield eagle. Oil companies had great logos like the Flying A, the Mobil Pegasus and the Shell shell. Which explains why Petroliana is so popular.
Very nice score !~
Great can and graphics.
cool, I have a 1920 clock face pump that was a Richfield that I will restore.
