Hello everyone!!
You've seen my posts featuring this gentleman sitting atop a bale of cotton doorstop and sitting among cigar and match holder baskets. Well, here he is once again sitting atop an antique LaRosa Colorado Cigar Co. box. He can also be seen pictured inside of a 1887 John Hojas Tobacco Habana Cigar Box.
These boxes were produced in the 1800's and there are few that have survived. This one, of course, is a reproduction of that cigar box. It is made of wood, as the original one was. There is a resin version of this box on the market today, but not nearly as nice as this wooden version of the box. The cigar box measure 5 9/16" long, 4 5/8" wide and approximately 7 3/4" to the top of the gentleman's top hat.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!

This cool, snazzy gent really gets around! He looks very at home on his cigar box "seat"
He looks like a prize collectible. Just wonderful !~
Jenni,
Thanks!! Yes, he does seem to get around quite a bit.
Phil,
Thanks very much!!! Though it's a reproduction, it is most definitely a prized collectible indeed!!
