Found at a thrift shop. Not sure of the age of the piece, could be antique or modern. A dragon scene and designs on the front. The marking translates to “Year Made”, “Qianlong”. Measures 10.5 inches in diameter. Excellent decoration with Blue Cobalt paint and Gold outlinings. Any info on its age would be appreciated.
the obverse rim is not a cofeerim and it is but a luster rim and is inconsistent with the stand ring , because there aint one, and the whale is not meant tio be a blue underglaze
the overse density density is quite thick it is highly a sort of press through coming from a decal
this is not they to date a 4 character late reruplic qianglonf zhi they use a better ferro red imitation signing signing and closed frame signing
IMO this is at best an early PROC signing in the best case scenario
