Got a second one of these, one can never have too many. I am always looking for that little round symbol. This is the typical 4 bladed knife with the 2 3/4" blade, can opener, bottle opener, and little punch blade that hardly ever gets used. On this example the little blade oens easily. Usually your fingernail will break before it opens. That can opener would make one feel like a pioneer.
In the last photo I have my other 2 Ulster knives. One has the fancy deerlin handle and the other has the attachment that goes to the belt clip. Or you can make a lanyard during crafts.

Pocket knives were always such great things....I still have a few but they seem to have been superseded the Leatherman!
I always thought the spike was to clean horse hooves?
Not that I have ever needed to.

Ah yes the much fabled thing for getting stones out of horses hooves.

Thank you very much BH1FOS. Explains why it is never used.

Thank you very much elanski. Yes it is that I think.
