I have a knife that looks identical to yours. It is at my other house, but I believe it says "Keen-Kutter" on the blade. I also have an identical fork, but not sure where I got that one. The knife was found under the kitchen floor of a late 1800s home my Dad was renovating.

Keen Kutter was founded in 1867 and is still in business.

If you want to clean your knife up, use some steel wool or a stainless steel scrub pad and some mineral oil, to get the rust off.

After cogitating a bit, I think that my fork is a bit fancier that yours, but operates on the same principle.
