I've always heard that it's the thought that counts well, that is very true for me. I received this as a Christmas gift from a very dear friend. It's a porcelain postcard created by Villeroy & Boch that she obtained when traveling with her husband in Germany in 1985. Sharing her life memories with me is priceless!
What a wonderful gift!! Thank you for sharing!!
Gorgeous wild bird scene, classic Villeroy & Boch.
Happy New Year MishMasher!
MishMasher, Cool. :-)
Love me Villeroy & Boch. <3
Replacements dot com has a listing for it (but none in stock):
https://www.replacements.com/collectibles-villeroy-and-boch-vilbocard-happy-event-no-box/p/110707801
Curiously, they describe it as "Happy Event."
Most other listings I've seen call it (as does yours) "Bird Feeding."
This particular Vilbo Card is somewhat frustratingly described on the back as being the work of "Fechner," and various Internet sources provide a first name of either "Anna," or "Amrei."
This listing for a different Vilbo Card shows both a close-up of the signature, and the backside credit listing as "Anrei Fechner:

This source says that the given name Amrei is a nickname for AnnaMarie:

The swap of the positions of the "e" and "i" characters isn't explained, but then English nicknames aren't always consistent, either.
Anyway, a bio of artist Amrei Fechner (FWIW, no mention of any work for Villeroy & Boch):
