Hello everyone!!!
Among all of the Wind In The Willows characters and books I own is a set of Wind In The Willows bookends. The detailing of these bookends is very impressive and no detail was left out. Even the books and chair look like real leather. These were produced by WETA and were sculpted by two very talented artists of the WETA Workshop in New Zealand, Johnny Fraser-Allen and Gary Hunt. These were produced in a limited number and this set is number 435 of 500. They're very fragile and so I actually do not display these, but keep them in their original box and packing instead. They're quite large and measure about 18" long (together) and weigh nearly 24lbs!! I hope you enjoy seeing these as much as I do.
A little known factoid about the WETA Workshop is that they created the makeup and costumes and props for the Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings trilogies.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!

Beautiful Wind in the Willows bookends, how wonderful to have the main animals from the book all together! They are superb
Jenni,
Thank you!!! I love all of the characters. These are really hard to find without paying a ridiculously outrageous price. So, I feel so fortunate to add these to my collection.
You have a great WITW collection
Great for kids but greater for the adults !~
elanski,
Thanks so very much!! I've always been a huge Wind In The Willows buff and have accumulated quite a number of related collectibles, as well as Kenneth Grahame books.
