Hello everyone!!
I've been looking for this particular doorstop for a number of years, but most I've seen were in very poor condition, overpriced and/or poorly cast and poorly painted reproductions. This one was copyrighted in 1932 and made by Wilton Products in Lancaster, PA. It's titled "English Bulldog Puppies In A Barrel". There are so many reproductions of this doorstop and even one made by John Wright. But, this one is the real thing. It's really rare to find this doorstop with most of its original polychrome paint remaining. All this one needed was a good cleaning and polishing. It measures 8 1/4" long and 6 1/2" tall.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!
