The bed frame went together fairly easily aside from one corner of the bed rails. The bed rail connector had gotten bent and would not fit. Used a claw hammer to get it back in place which was quite easy but wasted much energy trying to get it in place with a mallet. You can't use a steel hammer as it can break the joint.
I could have done a better job on staging but I used all my energy wrestling with the box spring and mattress. Did it with no help aside from the cats. Amazing the box spring made today fits in a frame made over a hundred years ago.
These beds are much higher than current beds. I get a bunch of free storage space.
Happy Easter & gorgeous iron bed
