This one’s a bit of a mystery to me. I believe it maybe of Pueblo origin. Whether Hopi, Zuni, Maricopa, Cochiti, Acoma, Anasazi, Etc. Or it may not even be north or South American. The piece has a white creamy background color with black slip designs that could be rain indications and clouds. The inside is almost a maroon color. The piece is not signed. It’s a low fired kiln from the sound it makes when I tap it with my fingernail. It carry’s a strong musty earth smell. It has a rim of 6” an overall width of 8” and has a depth of 5 1/2”. There is a small chip in the rim and some areas are more worn than others, especially the black slip. Any info on this piece would really be helpful.
