Back to the Queen Mary after hitting the Long Beach Antique Market where I got this item. This more appropriate than the tow truck I posted there last time. The background here is a dresser on the Queen Mary which was launched in 1934 and this is a model of a 1930 luxury car.
The long hood on this car is a result of a straight 8 engine. Gives these 1930s cars a unique look.
This model was made from 1976-1990 in various colors. But only in this color scheme from 1983-1985.
Beautiful Duesenberg car, can just imagine the luxury riding around in it back in those days
