I don't recall this from Starsky & Hutch but I am sure there were a lot of cars like it on the show.. This one appears to be stock and not made into a low rider. Which reminds me I didn't see many Impalas at the last car show I went to, there were many of the early 1950s cars instead which had been lowered. They were OG.
This model has all the details one would expect from headlights to windshield wipers to taillights and license plates. The engine is nicely done on this one, instead of chrome it is a more realistic orange engine block.
I still have three very nice models to share and one is a 3 parter so. no one will want to miss that
Starsky & Hutch was on in the 1970s. Their care was a 1976 Ford Gran Torino.
Savage Sunday
Episode aired Sep 10, 1975
A pair of small-time crooks steal a car not knowing it has a bomb in its trunk set to detonate at five o'clock. Starsky and Hutch have to do detective work on a deadline, locate the car, collar the crooks and beat the clock before it blows.
The stolen white Chevy Impala is a 1963 model. When it gets painted green, the Impala is a 1964 model.
Thank you John2 I knew that wasn't their car.
Thank you very much Dave for explaining that mystery. But then this model should have been a 64.
