A very nice piece from the same woman’s estate. But was purchased at a local thrift store after it was donated. This vase bares the marking for the Inaba Cloisonne Company in Kyoto, Japan. A well known artist and studio which was founded in the late 1870’s and after three generations it closed in the 1980’s. This piece has a twin matching bowl and lid but someone already purchased it. The vase has a nice long stretched neck and bulbous body. White background which gold gilt silver wiring patterns and designs. Both top and bottom rims are capped with nickel silver coverings. The main artwork is a wonderful color array of floral decorations. The bottom is marked with the circular marking on the base and bottom rim. It stands at 9.5” tall and about 3” wide. Probably Taisho period.
well you could be right i don,t , we are probably commited to the follow up of the tatif act so we know the underparameter , but you don,t know the upperparameter, the spread is very wide
but you could be right , but dating is not cherry picking
imo the most significant question is , is this an SHICHIHO deviation , that narrows it down, , well i just don,t know, lack the skill for this,
