This is a Leichter Panzerspähwagen which means armored reconnaissance vehicle. Either name seems to be equally long. Anyway these were sold ready to go out of the box yet has the quality of a model kit.
The main armament on these were a 20mm cannon with a MG34 for the secondary. Word on the street though is that the secondary armament is used more than the primary for most armored vehicles.. The screens on top of the turret were for anti-grenade defense. The vehicles were mostly used in Europe where there were plenty of roads. It's off road capability was not all that good. Off road meaning no road not a dirt road used by off roaders today.
I got a couple more of these to go but this one is my favorite.
