An excellent replica pistol here. It is full scale with working action but will not accept actual ammunition or fire. Also not made out of metal not suitable for an actual firearm. But it does have the weight and feel of an actual firearm. You pull back on the bolt and it cocks the hammer.
The real one was first sold in 1895 although it is called the 896 or C96 Mauser. also the Broom Handle Mauser. It was fed by ten round stripper clips into the magazine well. See fig. 3. Also it has adjustable sights for distance. Loads much quicker than a revolver.
Also may be known as Hans Solo's blaster.
