Here I have an extremely rare R.Monarch Mini Patent applied for Sample Bitters..From Owensboro Kentucky..It was a distillery that was meant to happen but bad luck had its way and never came to be..A fire then a divorce then a rebuild and a partnership with his brother, then a split in the company was all she wrote..Sad story but happy to have a piece from history!! I love this bottle I got it for a whopping 5$ bucks...Trust what I say it's worth a hell of a lot more!!!! Mint condition just some pine tar around the lip.........
Brando1234, Cool. :-)

Brando1234, You're welcome.
My nose started twitching when I read "patent." };-)
I didn't find that one, possibly because it never got beyond the "pending" stage.
I actually got sidetracked a bit reading about R. Monarch's brother Martin Van Buren "M.V." Monarch:

He had at least one patent to his name (a process for making sour mash whiskey), but I haven't been able to run that one to ground, either. :-(
