This model was first released in 1970 but was all yellow that year. In 1971 the shovel attachment was changed to orange. At least it wasn't changed to gold or purple like many of the other King Size models were in the 70s. Seems this was a cross between a Caterpillar bulldozer and Hactra front end loader. This one has the simulated hydraulics that hold the shovel in place. The older models you just had to hold it in place.
There are supposed to be high winds tomorrow so power may be shut off for a few days thus a delay in posting.
