This set is based on the Guns of Navarone. I remember in the long long ago it was a big deal when it came on TV. This is a playset worthy of the movie as it is quite spectacular as far as playsets go. As it says on the box it is over 2 feet tall with all sorts of doors, guns and elevators built in. There is also a playmat as seen in the last photo. All roads lead to the mountain. This is just the basic pieces in this post, I have several bags of soldiers and accessories for another post. It should be quite the spectacle when I get it all together.
PS I think there are 2 cats somewhere in the photos.

That's pretty special. I think there is a Battle of Iwo Jima version similar to this too.
