I've been (seriously) collecting Bohemian Art Nouveau glass for about 8 years now. I did acquire occasional bits & bobs of it before that but I feel that from when I joined CW in late 2016 & got so inspired by all the cool glass of this genre that I saw here, was when I really got down to business.
Anyway, to date I had not found an example of a "tadpole" decor with red dotted "eyes" *.
So when this showed up on eBay AU from a wonderful seller that I've bought many neat items from, I was GONE.
Despite several watchers, lucky old me was the only bidder.
This cute, squat vase has a conical shape & is made from two layers of cased glass, a milky opaline over an opaque white interior. There is a mother of pearl type iridescent finish, & two applied green "tadpoles" with red dots. It measures 9.5 cm tall, 6 cm across the cut top rim, & 7.5 cm across the base.
Has got some minor chipping to the inside of the top rim, but no worries - just super happy to have it!
    Bohemian origin, circa 1900.
    * I do have a small Kralik rose bowl type vase with plain green tadpoles (no eyes) obtained in 2020.

Congratulations, Marin. I too have longed for an example of the one eyed tadpole. In my case they always seem to lose out to something I want even more :). Perhaps I could be an 'honourable aunt' with visiting rights to yours.............

Beautiful piece. I think it might be a product of the Loetz glassworks. I'll try to find it.

Much appreciated, Ales! The seller had it listed as Loetz or Kralik, & personally I wasn't sure enough to put an attribution here yet. I know that Tadpole decors were popular in this era & that more than one maker produced them...

The same or very similar shape corresponds to Loetz PPN II-8402 from 1912. Description: "beinweiss glatt mit gelbgrünen Tropfen & kaiserrote Perlen, metallisiert".

I'll add the dimensions of the PPN II-8402: 82 mm. That's a little less than the standard vases, but if the dimensions differ by up to 1 cm, it may be a match.

Thank you so much, Ales, this is very interesting & I really appreciate your research on this...it is a charming little vase & despite some chipping it oozes style & quality. The seller I got this from has provided me with some outstanding art glass at reasonable prices. Last one was a wonderful little Rindskopf...

I apologize. The text of my last comment should have been translated as follows:
