Here is another recent find of mine that it seems some of you may enjoy and thought it was worth sharing. I do have the history of the badge as well and who it belonged to. He was appointed in 1936 and I am not exactly sure how long his tenure was. His name was Elmer Flechsig. In 1936 Assistant Fire Chief Elmer Flechsig became Police Chief. From what I am told this was the badge given to him in 1936.
The item is about 2 3/4 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches wide. Everything on it is original and complete.

This is a hat badge. The chief would also have had a breast badge and if you ever get ahold of that badge make sure you never let it go with out the hat badge.
