Three high-quality, original Koloman Moser Lithographs – "Das Buch vom Kaiser" title page, “Hymne,” and a dedication page to Kaiser Wilhelm's daughter. All of these lithographs are from a deluxe version of Viribus Unitis: Das Buch vom Kaiser (translated as “With United Forces: The Book about the Emperior”). Edited and published in 1898 by Max Herzig of Vienna, Budapest & Prague.
The title page and "Hymne" lithographs are pictured in Fanelli, G. & Godoli, E. (1990). The Dictionary of Symbolist and Art Nouveau Illustrators (Vol. 2), pg. 72, and Fanelli, G. (1989). La Linea Viennese, pgs. 224-5., respectively.
Aside from these Moser lithographs, the book was designed by Joseph Hoffman (1870-1956), who also provided the decorative endpapers, and features an inset bronze medallion of the Kaiser by Josef Tautenhayn (1837-1911).
