Royal Photograph Gallery

This book is absolutely a treasure! I received this as a gift for Christmas, it seems someone knows me very well. It's from 1893 and depicts prominent politicians, royals and everyday photographs around the world. The first few dozen pages are really my favorite, they depict the American governmental system of that time. There are individual photographs of both Mr. & Mrs. President Cleveland, photos of Cleveland's cabinet, President Benjamin Harrison and his cabinet, all 23 presidents up to that time. Prominent Democrats and Republicans, prominent Senators and the Vice President, prominent congressmen, the Supreme Court, and State Governors. It also includes photos of famous actors and actresses (including Edwin Booth, brother of John Wilkes Booth), composers, artists, etc. It's completely amazing.
It is in rough condition, both the front and back covers are separated from the intact/bound pages. I haven't even gotten all the way through it, I'm afraid of damaging it, plus I get distracted by the incredible book that it is.

It was rescued by a surplus store and sold, thank goodness! I'm glad it wasn't recycled.
