This is my Husbands Child Tool Box he received 40 years ago as a gift. It was bought at a Toys R Us in Springfield, VA. They are all real and he said he used them as a child to "build and work" on things.

I was just reading today about a toy tool set that they are recalling due to the toy 'nails' potential choking hazard. Amazing how we ever survived childhood with real child-size tools! I can see several 'deadly weapons' in there! LOL!
Wonderful tool kit, he took very good care of it!

I had the same set about 45 years ago. I had forgotton all about it till now.It must have left an impression, these are still the tools of my trade.

I remember recieving a similar set in the late 50's for Christmas. I took it right outside and started sawing a board. Pop came out and asked " what ya making" I replied "sawdust" Thanks for the memories.
