Strombergshyttan 1970 - 1975.
A bowl from Asta Stromberg Special Collection, unique pieces and limited edition. Light blue, bubble underlay technique. This series was free hand blown and "droven out" manually without forms. Very few items came out. Width: 8½". Height: 4½".
Some models of the normal range were also made in the same blue bubble underlay technique. I have also seen pieces in a golden yellow and a frosted white color, for this Special Collection with bubble underlay.
Thanks Bellin!
I like yours more than I like mine :)
It's SOOOO beautiful, with those amazing big bubbles!
I found another bowl in an antique store today, the same technique but different shape and unsigned. Looking to call and ask them to reserve it for me? The blue color in underlay seemed slightly brighter, otherwise the bubbles were the same.
Thanks for all loves!
looks like Barovier's Efeso, very beautiful.
You have right MacArt! Perhaps they used detergent powder to roll the embryo ( (called "post") in Iatly too?
I am not familiar with the exact process Barovier used but I guess it's the same because results are very similar
