Such an interesting whislte !!! I wonder how many were made ?? The hudson patent came out with one year and took over, yet we see thses 6 piece cast handmade whistles all the time !! ---- SPOTLIGHT nu...

yah, same here in Portland Oregon !! Well, different whistle though.
now they are saying that whistles are tools....
by the way, this one is VERY rare !!!! ... just sayin....
glass doors, maybe I can retrofit them..... you know....it's that dusting that kills me. You see, the feathers catch on the hooks and ... well....you know...... argh !!!!!!

the top and mouthpiece is probably LEAD. Definitely German made, I have 7 models in the reference collection. There are two knife gadget whistles besides Regents. Interestingly it was Edgar DeCourcy...
ironically most whistle collectors go first for everything but the sound ! It seams to be the last requirement after feel, heaviness, material, size, use .... weird huh ??

Perhaps the peas make the sound 'trill' and the angle edge where the air leaves the windows creates the sound. The body of the whistle affects the pitch, notes etc.
