WWII Soldier Souvenir Bring Back Money
This is a lot of 18 currency notes brought back by a soldier in WWII. I bought these a long time ago.
It was a local sale. The guy told me they belonged to a relative that had passed away and he had inherited them. He had no interest in them and I think I gave him $20? In retrospect, I wish I had got the relative's name.
The Japanese government money has an inscription on the back of 1 note and what looks like a few signatures on another? I think it says something about health and friend? If anyone has better eyes maybe we can get a translation?

Very cool! Much prettier than our plain and simple American currency.
Nice grouping of bank notes. No rare types there but if the notes are in nice condition (as they look) that in itself could make them rare and worth respectable money.
Thanks for looking. The one with the inscription is fascinating..appears to be a good luck wish?
