Here's a nice piece of Welz found on eBay AU, a small vase with a lot going on.
This vase measures around 13 cm tall, 3.5 cm across the top rim, & 5 cm across the base.
It is made from three layers of cased glass - clear over a dark, intense, jewel - toned spatter, with a white interior.
The mould design is extremely busy, combining swirled ribbing, encircling rings of small half round bumps, & stylised daisy - heads set within roundels. There are two clear applied handles with a bumpy texture.
I really like how the spatter turns into a swirl on the base.
Nice one, Marin. You have been making some good scores lately.
Many thanks, artfoot!
Yes, I've had a good run...got a few more interesting things either incoming & on the watchlist...
Wow, that's a beauty!!
Much appreciated, Scott!
Hey Marin, what a Great Crazy Glass Vase Find! :^D It's Amazing everything that it has going on! The Colors would go good with the Pottery Bowl that I just posted, but there would be too much going on to put them close together! Thanks So Much for showing this, and send it right on over, I Love It! Bill :^)
Love it-- beautiful welz!!
Seems welz had several shapes that incorporate the central circle in a jug/ trophy form.

Love it! A classic Welz decor, and with their molded daisy, too! I have also seen the molded daisy motif on quite a few of their miniature oil maps, too, so they seemed to use this on many different forms.
Thanks michelle— wasn’t sure of the name! Molded daisy— glad you posted that.

Beautiful piece, great find Marin!
Many thanks, Bill - it would look great with your bowl! I hope you can find one of your own on your next flea market trip, as you always find plenty of loot!
Thanks also, Scott!
Yes, Welz used this daisy a lot, I've got several other items with it. Very distinctive!
Much appreciated, Michelle!
I'm so happy with this, it's small but full of personality, with loads of colour & texture.
Thanks also, Bernard!
