I have to look right now for the info on this coat of arms previously from the owner of the Steinway Mansion in New York, previously from European origin which was deleted from this CW account nearly 13 years ago. I think it was around 1893-5 from a german queen? and now I forgot who it was and its history ?? It weighs over 100 pounds and is around 3+ inches thick, so its a good chunk of cast iron.

Most of what was on the internet is gone from 2012 and that is the trouble with info on the iternet. NOTHING IS SAVED from years ago, and hard to get information from a library, nowadays. But I will keep adding here and there. I remember thanks now to Mr. Kunst that it is a Coat of Arms from Emma of Waldeck and Pyrmont, Queen of the Netherlands. He also found out that In 1891 the name of the iron foundry company L.I. Enthoven & Co changed to Pletterij - Den Haag. The firm moved to Delft in 1905. So I also remember that another date that was given to me that the arms was made in 1894.

The left part of this coat of arms could be the coat of arms of the Netherlands.

Just a small addition to what I wrote earlier.

At the bottom of your coat of arms is written "Pletterij - Den Haag".

In 1891 the name of the iron foundry company L.I. Enthoven & Co changed to Pletterij - Den Haag. The firm moved to Delft in 1905.

The coat of arms must therefore have been made between 1891 and 1905 in The Hague (=Den Haag) - the Netherlands

Thank you mp.kunst. I remember in 2011 that I had info it was 1894, so you were right on that again. Appreciated !~
