These sets were popular in the late 1960s and 19870s. They are called HO/OO scale but they are roughly 1/72 scale. HO scale is 1/87. The scxale seems to vary from set to set. This set comes with 36 pieces with a total of 12 human figures. There are horses with bases for each figure. Seems to be a bit heavy with sword armed figures. In reality the swords tended to be left in the barracks and they fought on foot. One trooper out of four held the horses and they fought with their carbines. But that is not as much fun as a cavalry charge with swords drawn so there you go. There is one trooper behind a dead horse and one who has been shot. Almost every Airfix set has a guy who has been shot.
Much rejoicing now that the Latest Post thing has been fixed.
