Historic Downtown Hastings, MN Car Show May 2023
Strolling through a beautiful Mississippi River Town.... Hastings MN.
Much to my delight - they were having a car show.
A very wide variety of cars and trucks. I took a ton of pics - I can only post four.
They certainly have some nice cars in Minnesota.
    - '54 Cadillac (wow...they are long)
    - '61 Corvette w/245 HP 283 V8
    -'57 Bel Air Fuelie
    - '72 Maverick ( the Mad Mav :) )

It was a Great Sunny Day to be out and about .....and...... the participants were very friendly.

Thanks Much for Looking at my Post!!

Those are all very cool. I think my favorite is the Cadilac among some tough competition.

agree with FP those rocket launchers on the front look neat!

Great cars Falcon61 ! I'll join the fan club. The 54' Caddy hands down. The iconic Dagmar (Madonna) bumpers were serious front end protection conceived by Harley Earl to mimic artillery shells which convey the image of speed amongst other things. ;)

Thank You fortapache, BHIFOS, and Mikelv85 for the Fun Comments! :)
I re-arranged the order to reflect the preference. :)

My vote was the Caddy. Even before reading the comments.

Earl's idea..Ed Glowacke was the designer (Sadly, Glowacke died of leukemia in 1962 at the age of 41)

"Harley Earl's idea, as executed by Cadillac designer Ed Glowacke, was that the bumper guards would mimic exaggerated artillery shells, in order to indicate speed and power."

That was way before madonna..lol..Virginia Ruth Dagmar

      Great designs, still stands out..

Yes, dav2no1's further explanation was more detailed than mine. My Madonna reference (her bullet bra) was for the youngsters who may not have known about Miss Dagmar. The bullet bra from the 40's and 50's figures into the equation too I believe from what I've read. :)
