1926 Cadillac and Goodyear Ads
Approximately 10 1/2" x 14"
My sister and I were out buying some glass and I bought the Cord print for myself that I previously showed. The seller had this Cadillac ad in a frame. I was interested and she actually gave it to me. When I opened the frame, there was a Goodyear ad on the backside.
These ads are from May 1st 1926 out of The Saturday Evening Post. It's kinda funny that the Cadillac ad is bragging about the Velvet they use for the interior, but then list 13 other cars that use the same material.
1926 - 27 Cadillac Series 314
"Called the ‘new nintey degree Cadillac’ the Series 314 had an all-new V8 engine with an engine displacement of 314 cu. in. Cadillac never really gave this model a proper name and simply referred to all their cars as Cadillac."
"At the time Cadillac advertised “Fifty body styles and types – Five hundred color and upholstery combinations.” The large array of available options meant that no two cars were a like.
"From Aug 1925 until September 1927, 50,000 cars were produced."
