MAD Sep 1964
25 Cents Cheap
The only MAD rag I kept.... I had many.
Alfred Neuman - no one can compare.
Photo taken with natural honey oak hardwood flooring in the background (1nstalled when house was built in 1956) which is throughout my entire house. I'm not quite sure why I included my flooring description..... too late.... I did.
Sailing Sailing Over the bounding vein

Happy Collecting!!!! :)
I have many fond memories of Mad!
Monster models were huge back then so they flipped it around.
Ahh Mad and Cracked magazines..hours of entertainment when I was a kid. Love the folding back covers ..
Started w Mad, went to Rolling Stone, then Stereo Review. lol. Loved them all. Alfred E. Neuman for President!
Definitely a part of my formative years ! Until the car bug bit me. Then it was a toss up between Motor Trend and Car and Driver. Plus any music or audiophile related reading as well. :)
I subscribed to the last couple of years of the paper version of the magazine, on a whim. Was saddened when it was discontinued.
Good old Mad magazine.
I think my introduction to Mad was the hours I spent in the basement rec room of family friends (while the grownups were upstairs socializing), poring through tattered old back issues long since forgotten by the family friends' older-than-me offspring.
MADlad was I in ‘64 too. Congratulations on the 250 !!!
There was a Bar in Ohio back in the seventys that was decorated with all the Mad characters. Had to use the men's room!! Waitress said follow the Blue line in the floor!! Went all around the place!!
