This post is for the First Aid kit I posted a couple weeks ago. Some I think is original and some added. I fear some of the contents leaked a bit.
First photo features Vicks. My mom put this on me when I was sick in the long ago. I don't recall that it worked.
Next some bandages and some of the fluids. The Tine probably not original. The other two probably illegal now.
After that some this and that.
Last is a chart of the major arteries and where to apply pressure where needed. Perfect for Halloween or for those for whom Halloween is everyday.

I'm sure it's all still fine. Use as required.

A slathering of Vicks Salve on my chest was a standard treatment at my house - my mother used it liberally on me, especially at night, so my coughing wouldn’t keep my parents awake.
I learned to cough into my pillow to muffle the sound because “step 2” of her Vicks treatment was to make me swallow a big spoonful of it. She said it would soothe my throat.
As an adult, I showed her the warning on the label that said “Do not take internally”.
      Thanks, Mother.

I liked it a lot when I was young. Helped a person if you regularly got stuffed up. Never took it internally, wow !~

I seem to remember a contraption that had place to put some Vicks and then it "steamed" the aroma into the room to inhale.

@Watchsearcher ... can't believe your mom fed it to you!

Thank you very much racer4four. As long as I get a good buzz.

Thank you very much Watchsearcher. Glad I didn't eat it.

Thank you very much Phil. I think it had a psychological effect on me.

Thank you very much Coloradogigi. I have some device that is rather old I posted that is a steaming device but not Vicks.
