This is a small toy drum for children dating from 1920s. Judging by it's battered state it must have been used to make a lot of noise in its time. It has a portrait of King George V and pictures to represent the three sections of the armed forces: The British Army, the Royal Navy and the burgeoning Royal Air Force.

Not sure of the exact date but it was possibly made for the British Empire Exhibition in 1924

Awesome little drum! The fact that it's still in such wonderful condition is absolutely amazing.
