Rite-Vu Alarm Clock, Ingraham Clock Company, 1930

The clock was not working. It has superb Art Deco styling which is what drew me to it. The numerals are reministic of the 1930s
The clock was made by in the Ingraham Clock Company of Bristol, Connecticut, this is their Rite-Vu model 049. The clock's winding mechanism was stuck and the clock was not in working. The gold paint on the case shows has dirt in the grooves which makes it appear dark brown in the grooves. The clear transparent plastic cover is domed and has a few superficial very fine scratches as you would expect,and from the look at the back of the clock it was well used. The clock measures about 6 5/8" wide by 5 1/4" high by about 2 5/8" deep. It weighs about 2 pounds, and I am happy to report is working perfectly now. I love the cascading waterfall motifs on each side of the clock. Bsides gold, it was available in cream and black.
