We just hung the 1958 version of Coveys Little America Mobile gasoline sign. Our Mobile signs are reproduction of originals. As many know, Little America sold so much fuel in their truck stops across Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, that they made their own Brand of fuel. They started the Mobile Brand in 1956 and we have a copy of that vintage sign hanging in the Sparks Museum and Event Center plus the later 1958 version as well. In about 60’ they bought an entire Sinclair refinery and sold Sinclair fuel from then on. We are thrilled to have both styles of signs, a feat I never thought possible! Good luck happens to the persistent I’m told. Some bad luck as well, I’ve found. Or it found me.
